Things to do in and around Chiddingfold
For a small village, you are certainly not going to struggle to find a coffee or somewhere to eat! Elliott's on the Green located on the village green (as it's name suggests!), is a buzzy café where you can enjoy a coffee and cake overlooking the green and watching the world go by. The Crown Inn Chiddingfold (one of the oldest pubs in the country!) offers exceptional food (including a cracking Sunday Roast!) as well as comfortable accommodation. The Swan Inn offers a homely pub feel, perfect for a drink or bite to eat after a country walk (also very dog friendly so a great place to bring the pooch!). The Winterton Arms on the outskirts of the village has been recently refurbished and offers a varied menu and a wonderful garden.
Within a 10 min drive you can reach the beautiful market town of Haslemere, offering an abundance of cafes, pubs, restaurants and boutique shops. The larger town of Godalming is only a 15 min drive from Chiddingfold – offering an additional selection of shops and restaurants/cafes.

Chiddingfold is also lucky enough to have a second village green, which offers an active local cricket club for all ages as well as the Chiddingfold Youth Football Team for the kids to get stuck into!
The Chiddingfold Bonfire is extremely popular, and people travel from far and wide to enjoy the spectacle! It goes without saying that the abundant local countryside offers a wealth of walks.
