At Surrey HomeSearch, the majority of our clients are relocating to Surrey - either from within the UK, or from overseas. The case study below focuses on one of our most recent relocations - clients who were relocating from Singapore to Surrey.
Our clients are a young family, who have travelled and lived all over the world, and felt it was now time to settle and make roots in Surrey. Living overseas, our clients did not have the 'eye's on the ground' that is needed to search for a property, and required the help of a local property relocation agent.
Within the relocation, there were certain criteria that needed to be met - one of the most important was the school catchment area, as well as access to a bustling high street! This is where Surrey HomeSearch were able to help!

Having advised our clients on which specific areas would work, we were able to short list a number of properties based on the required criteria. As our clients were relocating from Singapore to Surrey, it was difficult for them to liaise with estate agents and impossible for them to visit properties in person.
We worked closely with our clients, identifying suitable properties, previewing properties on their behalf, eliminating properties that would not work, and sending feedback, photos and videos, along with live video tours for any properties with potential. Due to our excellent relationship with the local agents, we were able to source an off market property, a stone's throw from our client’s preferred school, and within walking distance to the high street and train station!
Our clients were unable to visit the property in person - but they had full trust in Surrey HomeSearch, and the feedback that we provided to be sure that this was their perfect home.
Our clients instantly fell in love with the property as it ticked so many of their requirements. We liaised with the estate agent on behalf of our clients and were able to secure the property for our clients. Offer secured, and their relocation to Surrey was ready to go! We were able to advise on local contractors to carry out the various surveys and inspections required prior to purchase, as well as offer recommendations for local solicitors to carry out the conveyancing.
